The Bear and Ragged Staff will be offering a much wider choice of dates than usual for the romantics among you to choose to celebrate. This is due to the slight inconvenience of February 14th falling on a Sunday this year. Not everyone wants to come out on a Sunday night and have a big dinner and a few glasses of wine! Although you’ll be welcome to break bread with us on Sunday the 14th, we have a couple of really convenient alternatives for you.

So, on Friday the 12th (6.30-9.30p.m.) , Saturday the 13th (6.30-10.00p.m.), as well as on Sunday the 14th (7.00 9.00p.m.) we will be offering our normal A La Carte Menu, however, our chefs recommendations for those evenings will be specially geared to the celebration of Valentines day. Click on the menu tab and our Valentine’s Day recommendations from Chef Becky Joy will be revealed in all their romantic glory!
