Why not choose The Bear and Ragged Staff for that special occasion? We can cater for the whole range of corporate and private catering requirements from a simple romantic dinner for two, to a sit down four course banquet for 80.
Any of our public areas can be tailored to provide a unique and special experience whether in our restaurant, pub or outside on our decking or in the garden. Since new management took over, we have gained an excellent reputation with local businesses and residents including visitors from afar who use our facilities to entertain guests & friends. Many find our location in the Centre of Southern England and the Midlands conducive to family gatherings where guests are coming from all over the country. Examples of recently catered for functions at the Bear are:-

  • 3 course Christmas  dinner for 70 for one of the houses of a leading Oxford Public School.
  • 3 Course Dinner for Burns night in January 2010 for 55.
  • Private 50th Birthday party for local Cumnor resident, with buffet and disco for 150.
  • Informal Christmas office gathering with drinks and finger food for 40 for local car dealerships.
