Children

Youngsters are a vital part of our lives whether we are parents or grandparents and they are all welcome at the bear and ragged staff. We provide all of the necessary facilities from a nappy changing room to high chairs for the very young, and during the summer months hoards of them can be seen enjoying themselves in the outside play area.

Our children's menu is changed on a regular basis to include the latest fads in food which we all have to put up with - and those little extras from the free ice cream to other treats enables the parents to enjoy some peace and quiet - if that is really possible with the majority.

We prefer very young children to vacate the restaurant by 8.30 in the evenings if at all possible - and don't forget you can book a table in advanced which is always a good idea, or take pot luck and simply turn up earlyish to secure a table.
